Development Overview
The Mary Star of the Sea High School Development Team handles all fundraising efforts to cultivate support for the school's operating and capital needs.
The Development Team assists Mary Star High School in achieving its overall mission and strategic goals. We strive to meet the financial needs of the school through philanthropy and investment by alumni, alumni parents, current parents, and friends of MSHS.
We encourage all of our constituents to play a dynamic role in providing an excellent Catholic education which prepares students for this world and the next by nourishing the soul, cultivating personal integrity, challenging the mind, and fostering social responsibility.
To achieve our mission, we aim to:
Establish close relationships with all stakeholders to encourage them to take an active role in Mary Star of the Sea High School
Acquire funds for the school through the Dollar-A-Day Annual Fund, which directs gifts toward debt reduction
Secure necessary funding for Tuition Assistance through the gala auction, A Night of a Thousand Stars
Develop the campus further with additional facilities, furnishings, fixtures, equipment and technology for a growing student body and evolving educational programs
