Latin I (Period 5) Assignments

Studying Latin has been done for centuries.  The study of Latin sharpens the mind, allows the student to enter into the great culture of Greece and Rome, and helps students to excel in other languages.  Not only does Latin help a student's vocabulary grow and prepares them for law and medicine, it is also a gateway into the highest and loftiest things of the human mind: philosophy and theology.  In this course, we will see how Latin is the portal into the history of Western civilization and into the History of the Church.
