This course serves as a pre-calculus class and is meant to be equivalent to a college algebra class. Topics include a more in-depth look at logarithms, exponential growth and decay, rational expressions, rational exponents, rational equations, conic sections, maxima and minima, probability and statistics, inverse functions, and matrices. Trigonometry topics include the six geometric functions and their inverses, graphing, domain, range, using identities, evaluating and simplifying trigonometric expressions, and solving trigonometric equations.
