ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN - CLASS OF 2028
 
We are excited to offer a new online admissions portal!
 
This year, we have transferred to an online system with FinalSite. This change will allow you to manage admissions and enrollment for your student all within one system and make your experience more streamlined. Please click HERE to create an account and complete your student’s admissions process.

To complete the application, we kindly require (submitted through your SchoolAdmin account):

1. Application Form
2. Baptismal Certificate (if Catholic)
3. Immunization Record
4. $75 application processing fee (check, cash, credit card or PayPal)
 
Please complete and submit to your current school (through your SchoolAdmin account):

1. Confidential Common Evaluation Form
2. MSHS Release of School Records Request
 
APPLICATION DEADLINE – FRIDAY, JANUARY 12, 2024
 
NOTE: Incomplete applications will not be processed and may delay or jeopardize acceptance to Mary Star of the Sea High School.
 
PLACEMENT EXAM – SATURDAY, JANUARY 13, 2024
Students will be automatically registered for the placement exam if they submit a completed application by Friday, January 12, 2024. The Placement Examination will be given at Mary Star of the Sea High School on Saturday, January 13.
 
MAKE-UP PLACEMENT EXAMS – SATURDAY, JANUARY 27 and SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2024
 
INTERVIEW, DECISION, AND REGISTRATION
•    Every applicant will be given an appointment time and date for an interview with the admissions committee (February).
•    On Friday, March 1, 2024, the registrar’s office will mail and e-mail a letter of acceptance to all applicants that have been accepted to Mary Star of the Sea High School. If admitted to Mary Star of the Sea High School, you will also receive registration instructions in your SchoolAdmin account, and will be emailed a date and time of registration appointment (March 4, 2024).
 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS:
 
1. Application Form (click HERE to create your SchoolAdmin account to apply and complete the admission process)
2. Baptismal Certificate (if Catholic)
3. Immunization Record
4. $75 application processing fee (check, cash, credit card or PayPal)
5. Transcript (most current grades)
6. Discipline Clearance Letter from most recent school attended
