MSHS Summer School

MSHS is now accepting applications for the 2012 Summer Session (June 18 - July 20) for enrichment and review courses. Classes are $250 per session. Please register by Friday, June 15, 2012.
MSHS Now Accepting Applications for 2012-2013

Mary Star of the Sea High School is now accepting Applications for incoming freshmen and transfer students for the 2012-2013 school year. All interested parents of both public and private school students are invited to attend the Information Evening on November 22nd from 6 to 9 p.m. in the auditorium.
Big Sunday gets a Big Turnout of Student Volunteers!

Seventy-five (75) students participated in this year’s Big Sunday day of volunteering on May 6th. Mary Star students traveled to Long Beach to help out at the Albert Jewish Community Center.
Upperclassmen Excel in Local Writing Contests

Mary Star of the Sea High School students honed their writing skills to become winners in two separate contests: San Pedro Youth Coalition Poetry Contest and the Clippers Read to Achieve Slam N Jam Short-Story and Poetry Contest.
Latin IV Students Hit the Road to the Getty Villa

After four years of learning the Latin language and studying Roman history, art, culture and mythology, Dr. Dever and nine seniors time-traveled to the amazing Getta Villa.
Honor Societies Flourish at Mary Star

Academics bloom every spring particularly with student inductions to the multitude of Honor Societies on campus. Congratulations to the inductees of all honor society members!
Mark your Calendar with Important Dates for the 2012-2013 School Year

A complete 2012-2013 calendar will be available in August.
In the meantime, use these important dates to plan ahead. The school strictly enforces the policy of not excusing absences, which occur during school days for vacation purposes.
Shadow a Student at Mary Star of the Sea High School

All students, seriously interested in enrolling at Mary Star of the Sea High School, are welcome to visit the campus and the classrooms. Visits may be a partial day or a whole day of school.
MSHS Song Team Takes First Place

Congratulations to the MSHS Song Team who won 1st Place in the California State Championships at the Sharp International Song Competition held on Feb. 25 at Knott's Berry Farm!
