2016 Required Summer Reading and Assignments

Grades 9th through 12th have required summer reading assignments for all English, Religion and Social Studies courses. Students will be tested on these materials when school begins this August. Below, please find the lists of books - per class level - with assignments and handouts attached below for download.

Advanced Placement students taking AP English Language and Composition and AP English Literature and Composition also are required to prepare for these challenging courses over the summer. 

NOTE: ACADEMIC DECATHLON TEAM - Your summer assignment is Transit by Anna Seghers. Please be ready to discuss the book when Academic Decathlon begins in August.
