Parent Board Message September 2010 Welcome to a new school year for all returning students and especially to the new families who have joined us at MSHS. I have had the opportunity to meet some of you, and look forward to meeting and working with all of you. There is always an adjustment period when coming to a new school but I assure you there is always someone available to graciously help you. Please reach out to anyone on the Faculty or Parent Board with any questions. One great way to get acclimated is to jump in and volunteer your time. You are able to meet other families and serve your volunteer hours all the while supporting our great school. Please review the Parents page on the school’s Web site, www.marystarhigh.com, for more information on parent organizations and volunteer opportunities. I thank you for choosing MSHS. You are giving your child a beautiful gift - the gift of a Catholic education. MSHS provides your child a caring, nurturing environment where their relationship with God is fostered, and their academic abilities strengthened. The administration, faculty and staff are amazing and truly go beyond the call of duty to care for our students in a firm but respectful manner. This is my seventh year as a MSHS parent, and I feel blessed each and every year. Please support our school and attend upcoming events such as the Fall Sports Kick-Off dinner, our first football game or the Tropical Beach Bash. Please find me and introduce yourself.
