Your task is to present your chosen topic using rich details from reputable online sources and articulate why it matters in the larger context of history.
Project Overview
Content: You’ve already selected a specific topic related to American History between 1600-1900, which has been approved by your teacher. Make sure to refer to this topic throughout your project. You should accomplish the following with your content:
Explain everything you can about your topic! Use specific details and anecdotes from your sources to provide depth and richness to your presentation.
Clearly articulate why your chosen topic is significant in the context of American History between 1600-1900.
Research Requirements: You will gather information about your topic from at least three reputable online sources. If you have forgotten what is considered “reputable”, ask your teacher during school hours. These sources should provide rich and interesting details about your chosen topic.
Try using academic journals, historical databases, or credible news outlets
Include all sources in a Works Cited section attached to your project. (MLA or APA)
Project Styles: Your project should be coherent, logical, and well organized. Choose one of the following formats to demonstrate your learning about your topic:
