Complete the "Extension" section from the Civil Engineering Unit HW in your Engineering notebook.  Don't choose the Structural Analysis option, since we haven't learned it.

Remember to bring in your filled-in handout from Mr. Nguyen on Tuesday, including four problems and their corresponding solutions.

Complete the Vocab List section from the Civil Engineering Unit HW in your Engineering notebook.  

Quiz on Aerospace Engineering

Complete the Vocab List and Questions sections from your Aerospace HW page (posted under Notes/Handouts) in your Engineering notebook.  

In your notebook, complete the chart documenting changes made to your airplane design (and their effects) as well as your multiview diagram of the final design (with dimensions).  

Group Presentations will be given at the beginning of block period on Wednesday.  Someone in your group should be prepared to share the presentation with me beforehand.  

Test on the Engineering Design Process unit.  Includes material from the EDP Notes, Vocab HW, and Questions HW.  

Complete the "Questions" portion of your Engineering Design Process Unit Homework in your notebook by Friday.  Remember to use the posted book pages for this unit on Google Classroom to answer them.  

Look up information about boats online (particularly ones designed to move fast), focusing especially on exterior/hull shape but looking for anything that might help you design your Styrofoam speed boat.  Write out some notes on what you learn in your engineering notebook, including sketches.  Don't post anything here - just bring your engineering notebook to class with your research in it.  

Turn in your Engineering Notebook with the parts of the Rubber Band Car Project that you were responsible for (as well as the part that everyone is responsible for).  See attached directions if needed for reference (handed out in class).  

Quiz Tuesday on the following:
- Notes: What is Engineering? (1 page front/back)
- Circuit Quick Facts sheet

Turn in your Engineering Notebook with the sections of the Flashlight Design Project that you were responsible for inside of it.  Also, hand in the "Extension Assignment - Flashlight Design" worksheet (one per person).   

If you feel that you are unable to turn in your completed project by Friday for any reason, it is your responsibility to come talk to me about it BEFORE Friday so I can discuss it with you.  

Complete the "Vocab List" section of your Engineering Design Process Homework in your notebook.  

Look up information about flashlights online - research how they work, common features, internal circuitry, etc.  Write out some notes on what you learn in your engineering notebook, including sketches.  Don't post anything here - just bring your engineering notebook to class with your research in it.  
This is background research for our flashlight design project this week. [NOTE: Since I had your notebooks with me overnight, you are allowed to complete this assignment on loose leaf paper]

Complete all parts of the "Extension" section found on your Engineering Design Process Unit Homework sheet.  This should be completed in your Engineering Notebook (and we started it in class on Tuesday!).

Turn this in on Monday along with your EDP Extension assignment.  

This is not a grade, just a reminder - find an Engineering Notebook for the year!  Must not have removable pages (no 3-ring binders) and should be dedicated only to Engineering (no 3-subject notebooks).  Other than that, you pick the style!
