Mary Star of the Sea High School will be participating in 3 Elementary School Nights, offering live 25-minute Zoom sessions highlighting school information and the admission process. Zoom sessions will air from 7pm - 7:25pm, 7:30pm - 7:55pm, and 8pm - 8:25pm.
October 2021 - December 2021: Family Campus Tours
Prospective students and parents have the opportunity to take a family tour of our beautiful facility. See the campus and learn more about what Mary Star of the Sea High School has to offer. January 2021 - April 2021: Star Shadow Days
Come spend the day with a Mary Star student to experience their classes and life as a Star! Please contact the main office at (310) 547-1138 for more information and to set up a Shadow Day. (Availability based on the recommendations of local government and health officials.)
Friday, January 15, 2021: Application Deadline for Placement Exam
To register for the placement exam, please submit a completed application packet with the $75.00 application fee BEFORE January 15, 2021.
Saturdays, January 16 and 30, 2021: Placement Exam (choose one on application)
(Parents are welcome to attend the Mass and Breakfast)
- 7:30 a.m. Mass
- 8:00 a.m. Breakfast
- 8:30 a.m. TEST begins PROMPTLY in the school classrooms.
Do not bring anything with you for the test: all pencils, scratch paper, etc. will be provided. The use of calculators is not permitted. The test will end around 12:30 p.m.. Please plan to pick up students around 12:30 p.m.
To be fully registered for the entrance exam, please submit a completed application packet, including the $75.00 application fee. Applications are available from your Catholic Elementary School, the Mary Star of the Sea High School Office, or you may download one here.
