Briefly recap the most important evidence and analysis presented in your body paragraphs, reinforcing your argument's validity.
If your argument suggests a solution or resolution to the research question, clearly state it in the conclusion.
Acknowledge any potential implications or limitations of your argument or research, demonstrating a nuanced understanding of the topic.
If appropriate, suggest avenues for future research or investigation related to your topic.
You can also situate your argument within a larger context, highlighting its significance or importance.
The conclusion should summarize and reinforce your argument, not introduce new evidence or arguments

It should also lead the reader into your conclusion/possible solution..
STEPS:
1) Topic Sentence
2) Provide effective evidence that supports the argument
3) Have a counterargument
4) Stronger argument to come back to close your argument. (use quotes, stats)

Individual Research Report CONCLUSION:
The conclusion of a research paper is where you wrap up your ideas and leave the reader with a strong final impression. It has several key goals: Restate the problem statement addressed in the paper. Summarize your overall arguments or findings.
Stresses the importance of your thesis statement
Gives the research paper a sense of completeness...with a "possible" solution to the problem
It leaves a final impression (thought) on the reader.
Answer the research question.

(200-300 words) An introduction is the initial part of a research paper and the part that a reader is likely to read first (at least when focusing deeply and reading it in detail). Hence, definitions, notions, and other information required for understanding the paper are presented/listed here.
Every IRR paper needs context so that readers can understand why you have created it. This is exactly what you can do in your research paper introduction. Of course, this can mean that your introduction is the hardest part of an essay to write first. So, it is essential that you take your time and make sure you get it right.
The introduction of writing is going to set out your rationale, which is what research will be based around. Your readers should be able to tell what they are reading right from the beginning and whether it interests them.
It is essential that you make the beginning of your research paper interesting and engage with your readers (have a hook) from the first line. This will make sure that people continue to read and learn about what you have found out. You should also state a hypothesis and the way you think your work will turn out in conclusion
Rubric Introduction:
What is your Thesis Statement?
What is your HOOK?
What is your Research Question?
What is your Background Information? Does it have cited information?
What are your lenses for the body of your paper?

THEME: Climate Change OR Fast Fashion
*Climate change is one of the most serious challenges facing humanity. (health, food, wildfires, weather, poverty)
*Fast Fashion is associated with significant environmental problems like excessive water usage, chemical pollution from textile dyeing, massive textile waste generation, microplastic release into waterways, high carbon emissions, and exploitative labor practices in garment manufacturing, often harming workers' rights and contributing to poor working conditions; essentially, the rapid production of cheap clothing leads to a high environmental cost due to the materials and processes used to create it
Choose your topic, research question, articles (2) and then find the following and submit:
I) Claim
II) Reasoning
III) Evidence
