Qualified students will undergo a thorough and exacting review of all grammar concepts and vocabulary. Practice Advanced Placement examinations will be taken and reviewed. Emphasis will be on preparation for the AP exam in Spanish Language for which students may earn college credit with a passing grade. In Spanish IV students will participate in interactive communication activities. Through different readings students will be encouraged to express their opinions, interests, ideas and attitudes about the reading and other related topics. Students will also continue to practice and apply their listening, reading, speaking and writing skills while stressing their awareness of the contemporary culture of the Spanish-speaking world. Several written and oral projects will also be assigned.
