Welcome to Beginning Dance & Health!
 
My name is Mrs. Marquez and I will be your Beginning Dance & Health teacher.

The Shading Worksheet will be due on Friday, 1/11 at the start of class. Please be sure to include the "point of light" where necessary.

The Hands/Feet Handout distributed in class on Friday, 12/7 will be due on Monday, 12/10 at the start of class. 

Peter Pan Field Trip Permission Slip and $30 fee - Due Friday, 12/7

Please note that your Peter Pan field trip permission slip and $30 fee is due by Friday, 12/7.
 
Turn the permission slip into me during class--$30 fee is handled with Mrs. Alves in the Finance Office.

Please remember--this sketch stays in black and white, but it's important to enhance depth through shading.

Final Exam Magazine Cut Out - Due Thurs, 12/6

The magazine cut out of your 9-head croquis for your Fall Final Exam is due Thursday, 12/6.
 
**Please know that you are more than welcome to use my magazine if you do not have one at home. 

20 pt. Extra Credit Opportunity - Nutcracker Ballet

Hello Ladies,
 
You will have the opportunity to earn up to 20pts extra credit for this semester. Thanks to Coach Gelber, you and your guest(s) can receive a free ticket if you just sign up on my class sign-up-sheet.
 
Location: Warner Grand Theater, San Pedro
Date/Time: Friday, Dec. 7th @ 7pm, Saturday, **Dec. 8th @ 7pm** and Dec. 9th @ 2pm.
You must sign up by Wednesday, 11/21 to receive free tickets from the venue.
**preferred date from the venue for free tickets.
 
To receive 20pts extra credit, you must do the following:
  1. Attend the Nutcracker Ballet
  2. Write a 1-page, typed, double-spaced, review of the ballet. (Assignment will be given in class)
  3. Attach the ticket stub to your review you turn in.
No partial extra credit will be given for this event.
