AP Calculus (Period 1)

Students in AP Calculus will understand the following topics graphically, algebraically, numerically, and verbally: limits, derivatives, integrals, maximum/minimum problems, area, volume, and differential equations. Students will be challenged to think critically and "outside of the box." Students will have the opportunity to take the AP Calculus AB exam in May. Students who do not pass the AP exam may still be able to test out of a partial sequence of calculus in college, depending on the university.
