My name is Ms. Melendrez and I teach Algebra 1 & Honors Algebra 1

 

        I will focus on two main goals this year. My first goal is to ensure my students possess a solid foundation in the core curriculum. I want to ensure that I am doing my best to prepare you for all further math classes you will take. My second goal is to provide a comfortable learning environment for my students. Students will work together to critically analyze problems, evaluate them thoughtfully, and communicate their answers effectively. Though the students are expected to participate in their own learning experience, I know that with proper instruction in the content area and mutual respect to and from all students will make their participation in mathematics a positive and unforgettable experience.
