Due:
Students are introduced to ANIMATION in the digital art field by watching a short video and then learning how to create a simple frame-by-frame animation using Google Slides. For example, a flower growing, a car driving, a cat jumping. Students are to duplicate slides and moving objects slightly to simulate motion. Students first brainstorm ideas on what they would like to create as their animation by sketching out using a paper template to create a short animation.
The following steps include:
Set Up Your Slides (Open Click on Delete the default text boxes (so you have a clean slide).
Create Your First Frame (Insert an object (example: Style it! (Change the color, add a border, etc.) and Place the object at the on the slide.
Duplicate the Slide (Right-click on the slide thumbnail → Move the object on the new slide (up, down, sideways, or rotate it).
Repeat to Build Motion (Keep duplicating the latest slide), Move the object each time, The more slides you have, the smoother the animation will look!
Preview the Animation (Click (or faster!), OR: the slides and click fast through them. Tip: Set to 0 seconds if you want it to auto-animate.
Add Extra Effects (Adding (simulate environment movement), Using moving at once, Creating a (like a ball bouncing or a rocket launching).
