Fr. Stephen Doktorczyk was ordained a priest in June, 2005. He spent the summers of 2005 and 2006 at Holy Family Cathedral in Orange as a parochial vicar. After ordination, Father returned to Rome to complete studies in Canon Law. He received his license in canon law ("JCL") in 2007 and was assigned to St. Joachim's effective July 1, 2007.

Doktorczyk followed his calling in 2000 when he entered the pre-theology program at St. John's Seminary in Camarillo, CA. In 2001, he was sent to the Pontifical North American College in Vatican City to pursue theological studies. He attended the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas ("Angelicum") and earned his Bachelor's in Sacred Theology (STB) in 2004. He studied Canon Law at the Pontifical Gregorian University from 2004-2007.
